Scott Walker endorsed Sen. Ted Cruz for president this morning during an interview with WTMJ’s Charlie Sykes. Walker emphasized the importance of backing a candidate that is a constitutional conservative for many reasons, one being the need to bring power back to the states.
“After all these years of the Obama-Clinton failures, it’s time we elect a strong new leader and I’ve chosen to endorse Ted Cruz,” Walker told conservative radio host Charlie Sykes.
The endorsement is a coveted one to say the least and comes before Wisconsin’s upcoming presidential primary on Tuesday, April 5.
After the failed Obama-Clinton Admin, Americans want leadership. I endorse @TedCruz, a principled constitutional conservative who can win.

Like we did in WI, @TedCruz isn’t afraid to stand up to big govt special interests. He understands that power belongs to states, not Wash DC

Yesterday and likely after realizing Walker would not be endorsing him, Donald Trump tweeted the following:
After the way I beat Gov. Scott Walker (and Jeb, Rand, Marco and all others) in the Presidential Primaries, no way he would ever endorse me!
